Would you like to join an exciting community project called
Holy Longing
This project will uplift us, explore our creativity, and
beautifully remind us that everything is holy.
Wendy DeMos's project aims to explore creativity
through a two-hour variety show centered
around the mantra "Holy Holy."
Here’s a description of the Holy Longing Project:
The two-hour performance would include the Chant Your Heart Open band and Wendy performing the song Holy Longing.
This song includes the mantra "Holy, Holy."
You only need to create a 10-minute act using the mantra "Holy Holy"
in some form:
music, dance, spoken word, painting,
comedy, circus, or another genre.
YOU create!
The "Holy Holy" theme will run throughout the show and bond each act to the other ...
It's a unique opportunity to bring people together and
showcase the beauty of shared artistic expression.

Notice the "Holy Holy" chant around minute 7:30.
THAT is the chant that your offering needs to include.
The choir could sing that mantra to complement
your presentation.
Or, your act could be supported by a band consisting of
piano, guitar, violin, and bass.
Or both.
Imagine the hearts of audience members being uplifted and
reminded that each moment is holy!

area you would like to be involved in.

Your offering doesn't have to be precise yet …
For now, listen to the song and consider ways to include the melodic mantra "HOLY HOLY" in YOUR offering.
Once we have a group of interested people, we would love to
meet with each artist/act during the summer to brainstorm
how to help you deliver your 10-minute offering beautifully.
Only 11 acts can fit in a two-hour show, so we'd lean
toward the most compelling acts.
(Though a Holy Longing Project 2 is possible!)
We'd present in
January 2025 at a venue in the area.
